This Privacy Policy describes how KAINDLY ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit kaindly.ai, join the KAINDLY Collective, apply for an internship or role with us, subscribe to our newsletter, or otherwise interact with our services. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and transparently.

1. Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
Information you provide directly. When you contact us, sign up for our newsletter, apply for an internship, join the KAINDLY Collective, register for an event, or purchase a product or service, you may provide us with:
Name, email address, and phone number
Professional information such as job title, organization, industry, and LinkedIn profile
Payment information (processed by our payment processor — see section 4)
Application materials, including written responses, portfolio links, and resumes
Content you submit in forms, surveys, or community discussions
Any other information you choose to share with us
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we automatically collect:
Standard web log data (IP address, browser type, device information, referring page)
Pages visited, time spent, and other usage patterns
Cookie-based analytics data (see section 5 for cookie details)
Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from partners, event organizers, or platforms where you have interacted with KAINDLY content (for example, LinkedIn connections or event registration lists).
2. How we use your information
We use your information for the following purposes:
To provide our services — responding to inquiries, delivering the KAINDLY Collective experience, processing payments, fulfilling event registrations, and supporting your participation in our programs
To evaluate applications — reviewing internship, role, or program applications and communicating with candidates about next steps
To communicate with you — sending service updates, newsletters, event announcements, and responses to your questions
To improve our offerings — analyzing how our website and services are used so we can make them better
To protect our rights and comply with the law — detecting fraud or abuse, enforcing our terms, and meeting legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not share it for third-party marketing purposes.
3. Data retention
We keep your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
Newsletter subscribers — until you unsubscribe, plus a short window for recordkeeping
Contact form and inquiry data — up to 2 years after our last interaction, unless you request earlier deletion
Internship and role applicants — up to 12 months after the application decision, unless you consent to longer retention for future opportunities
KAINDLY Collective members — for the duration of your membership plus any period required for billing records, tax compliance, or legitimate business interests
Website analytics — typically 14–26 months, per Google Analytics default retention
You may request earlier deletion of your information at any time (see section 7).
4. Third-party service providers
We work with trusted third-party service providers to operate KAINDLY. These providers process your information on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy and security commitments.
When these providers process your data, they do so under written agreements requiring them to keep your information confidential and secure.

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized usage data. Google Analytics uses cookies to track information such as which pages are most visited, how long visitors stay, and what devices they use. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect the functionality of some parts of our website.
We do not currently use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

KAINDLY is based in the United States, and the service providers we work with primarily store and process data in the U.S. If you are accessing our services from outside the United States — including from the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other regions with data protection laws — your information will be transferred to, and processed in, the United States.
For transfers from the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required. By using our services or providing your information, you consent to this transfer.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
Correction — ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
Deletion — request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions

For residents of the European Economic Area and United Kingdom (GDPR)
We process your personal information under the following legal bases: your consent, the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests (such as running and improving our business), and compliance with legal obligations. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
For residents of California (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion of their personal information, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (though we do not sell or share your information for cross-context behavioral advertising). You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

8. Data security
We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and use of reputable service providers with strong security practices.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
9. Children's privacy
Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at hello@kaindly.aiand we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Applicant and candidate information
If you apply for an internship, role, or program with KAINDLY, we use your application information solely to evaluate your candidacy and to contact you about the opportunity. With your consent, we may retain your information for up to 12 months to consider you for future opportunities. You can ask us to delete your application at any time by emailing hello@kaindly.ai.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, notify you by email or through a notice on our website. Your continued use of our services after the update indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
